Betty & Mary: Neighbors is featured in Film Independent’s latest Fiscal Update, “Over the Finish Line,” making major moves toward completion. The August 11 feature highlights the film’s production wrap, its move into post-production, and the continuing fundraising effort to complete the second chapter of the Betty & Mary trilogy.

Film Independent introduces Neighbors as “a twisted neo-noir about two stripper roommates” and spotlights writer, producer, and lead actor Dana Lyn Baron as the project moves from a successful production into its next phase.

From Production to Post

The feature marks another milestone for Betty & Mary: Neighbors, which completed principal photography earlier this year and is now in post-production. Fundraising continues to support the editing, sound, music, color, visual effects, and other finishing work needed to bring the film to completion.

As the film’s fiscal sponsor, Film Independent provides a pathway for eligible contributions to support the project as it moves through production and post.
